On the 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect. The GDPR is a piece of EU-wide legislation which will determine how people’s personal data is processed and kept safe and the legal rights individuals have in relation to their own data. As public organisations, schools are required to comply.
Walkeringham Primary School has a Data Protection Officer whose role it is to ensure that any personal information processed by our organisation is processed fairly and lawfully.
