Friends of Walkeringham School
Welcome to the Friends section of our website.
Committee members; Debbie Cutts (Chair), Jenny Ellson (Secretary), Ellen Armstrong (Secretary), Lori Shemilt, Louise Fahy.
We are a group of parents/grandparents/carers of children in school. We organise fund-raising events for children and adults throughout the school year. All of our profit goes directly into projects for the school. In the past we have raised money for various projects such as to support reading schemes in school, fund the coach for the pantomime to reduce the cost to parents and buy the children an ice cream while they are there!
We have some exciting activities planned for 2024 which will be announced in more detail closer to the time, but they include:

We also have a big focus on getting sponsorship from outside sources to raise funds for our long term aim of renovating the playground.
Our 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Monday the 29th of January. Thank you to all that attended. The minutes of that meeting can be found below. A new constitution was voted in, which can also be found below.
