This is our Key Stage 2 Long-Term Plan for Sycamore Class, where children in Years 3–6 are taught together for some subjects and are split into Years 3/4 and Years 5/6 for others. Where children learn together, the core content and substantive knowledge are shared across the class, while the disciplinary knowledge, skills and level of challenge are adapted to meet the needs and expectations of each year group. This ensures that all children build on their prior learning and make appropriate progress throughout Key Stage 2.
