Spellings Autumn term, second half, 5th November 2018 - 7th January 2019

Dear Parents / Carers,

Here are the weekly spellings until Christmas.  Therefore, if the children forget them or they get misplaced you will have access to them on here. Whenever possible, they will continue to be handed out on a Monday and tested the following Monday.

Each week I will add the weekly spellings to the Spelling Shed online game, they can be found in 'Autumn term 2 lists' on the online game. All children will receive a username and password for this when they have completed and returned the permission forms.

I have been doing some assessments on last half terms weekly spellings. I have noticed that although the children may do very well in the weekly spelling tests they do not always apply the spellings learned when they are writing sentences.  With this in mind, if you have some spare time it would be absolutely wonderful if you could encourage your children to learn the spellings and to write then in sentences.

Many Thanks

Mrs J Smith
